Poison Oak
Well let me just start out by saying, POISON OAK IS YOUR WORST ENEMY. My friends and I were hiking at night and most all of us ended up with terrible rashes. It took about 5 days for it to show up on me. But now, two weeks later, I still have it. I have little spots on both my arms and one huge area on my left arm (it looks like I just rubbed my arm across something with poison oak on it). My friend Peter went to the doctors and was prescribed steroids which apparently cleared it up. I have no idea what my other friend Tim did. He last said he was using some antihistamines. I’m using this cream called, ready, Triamcinolone Acetonide. It’s synthetic steroids and sure helps the itch. But now I have to wash virtually everything I’ve come into contact with since that fateful evening.
